Jimmy Kimmel Live w/guest host Chelsea Handler
Watch my stand-up comedy set on Late Late Show with James Corden:
Atsuko Okatsuka had a perfect little self-contained set on The Late Late Show this week. Okatsuka’s set was based on two precepts: that she is essentially a child and that she did not ask to be born. These may be the two most relatable feelings, existentially, we’ve got going right now. Nobody feels adult enough to be doing all … this, and nobody chose to enter this reality. Okatsuka uses both these ideas to justify making out with a stranger’s dog, and that’s why she’s one of the best in the biz." - VULTURE
I'm on tour! See me in your city
Refreshing, artistic and boundlessly confident, Okatsuka’s sense of humor makes audiences feel like they have always been on her side, even when she’s taking them to task." - TIMEOUT Los Angeles
BIO
Atsuko Okatsuka is one of Variety's Top 10 Comics to Watch in 2022 and she "won late-night" (Vulture) when she did her debut stand-up set on The Late Late Show with James Corden. She has triumphantly done a stand-up set during a 7.1 magnitude earthquake which went viral in 2019 and started the Beyonce Partition Drop Challenge with her Grandmother, which has amassed more than 10 million views. She went on to Jimmy Kimmel Live to coach Chelsea Handler and Guillermo on how to do it. She was recently on Marc Maron's WTF podcast as "the best guest ever," said her husband.
